We like to work with the parents to help prepare your child for school by implementing a strong curriculum as well as learning through play and motor development.

Our Montessori Teachers

The teachers at Wesgami Montessori School are dedicated to your child’s education along with your child’s well being and safety.  All of our teachers are required to participate in workshops and continuing education courses.   It would be our pleasure to put our extensive experience to work for you.

Montessori Childhood Education

Our Montessori education program is based upon the discoveries of Dr. Maria Montessori, the first female Italian physician and one of the first advocates of early childhood education. Montessori stresses taking advantage of the children’s sensitive periods in language, math, music and sensorial. Children progress through each area of the curriculum by individual lessons using the unique Montessori manipulatives. The earliest years of your child’s life are as important, if not more important, than the age of university studies. During this time, your child will develop lifelong interests, attitudes, skills and habits. With the right guidance, your child is capable of amazing things, more than most of us could imagine.
