Top Choice For Children

We offer specialized programs for children aged 2 to 6, carefully designed to support their growth at every stage. Our programs are divided into two parts:

Pre-Primary Program 2-3 yrs

Primary Program 3-6 yrs

Each program is tailored to meet the unique needs of children, providing them with the tools and opportunities to grow into well-rounded individuals. At W Montessori Academy, we are committed to supporting the whole child in their journey of learning and self-discovery.

A well-prepared environment with engaging materials motivates children to independently pursue their interests.

Practical Life
Practical life activities focus on everyday tasks like pouring, buttoning, and cleaning. These exercises help children develop independence, concentration, coordination, and responsibility. They teach valuable life skills and build confidence as children master tasks they can use at home and beyond.
Sensorial
This area sharpens the senses through hands-on materials that explore texture, color, sound, and size. Activities like sorting shapes or matching sounds help children classify and understand the world around them, enhancing their ability to focus and analyze.
Language
Montessori introduces language through phonics, hands-on letters, and rich vocabulary activities. Children learn to read, write, and express themselves confidently, setting a strong foundation for communication and literacy.
Math
Montessori math materials, such as bead chains and number rods, make abstract concepts like addition, subtraction, and fractions concrete and accessible. These tools build a deep understanding of numbers, patterns, and problem-solving.

World Language Education
Multilingualism is an experience that shapes our brain for a lifetime. Learning a new language expands our minds and speaking a second or third language will boost confidence and increase self-esteem. Our children will be offered two languages, Spanish and Polish. Rotating months, the children will experience a full emersion language class using props, songs, books and more. Our goal is to have the children begin to understand and speak these two languages during their first year, building on these skills each school year.
Culinary Practices
Understanding that Practical Life skills are important for development and independence, learning to cook is an essential practical life skill. Involving children in the kitchen is a great way to kickstart that learning from a young age and comes with numerous benefits. Cooking with children provides opportunities to teach them about food and nutrition. Involvement in meal preparation exposes them to new foods in a positive way and increases their likelihood of trying new foods. During the culinary practices class, children will learn food safety and work towards preparing delicious and healthy foods.
STEM
Lemon volcanos, invisible messages, balloon cars, the possibilities are endless! Think of it this way: as we learn new skills, our brains weave skill strands into ropes we use to solve problems, meet challenges, and, in turn, acquire new skills. When children have opportunities to practice framing questioning, collecting data, and solving scientific problems, they build strong ropes that can be used in many ways, now and throughout life.
Arts
Art encourages fine motor skills, neural development, and problem- solving abilities. Art is important for its own sake—as a source of beauty and expression, as well as simply for the process of creating. During this enrichment class, the children will not only create unique masterpieces using different techniques and mediums, they will build important skills such as concentration, instruction and collaboration. In true Montessori fashion, this class will include some art history as well as a touch of performing arts!

Music & PMD (Perpetual Motor Development)
Unlike fundamental movement skills that form the building blocks for movement, such as hopping, jumping, running or balance, perceptual motor development connects a children's perceptual or sensory skills (the brain) to their motor skills (the body) so they can perform a variety of movements and confidently interact with their environment. Developing perceptual motor skills involves teaching children movements related to time, direction and spatial awareness. This enrichment will also include plenty of music, songs and instruments.
