For a child to be involved in music leads to a new world of understanding in every other subject. The rhythmic sounds that music provides enhance a child’s ability to make connections in math, art, language, and practical life. Playing games where the children match sounds and make up their own rhythms induces a sense of accomplishment.
We use activities that involve clapping, jumping, and moving to the music’s beat to help the children develop coordination, motor skills, and creativity. Drums, Macarena’s and rain sticks are all used in the children’s musical development.
