Experiences such as movement control and motor skills are taught through Practical Life exercises. Practical life gives the child an opportunity to carry out a task with the aid of an instructor. When a child is left without guidance, he will not know how to complete a task and will become frustrated. While applying practical life skills, the children apply directions given to the task at hand.
Independence learned in practical life is also applied to all the other areas of studies. The mental and physical skills learned in practical life skills are imperative in the development of any constructive human being.
