Why Lombard Families Love W Montessori
A Diverse, Welcoming Community
Lombard is one of DuPage County's most diverse communities, and so is our classroom. Children learn alongside peers from different backgrounds, building empathy and global awareness from an early age.
Bilingual Language Programs
Our students receive daily immersion in Spanish and Polish — a meaningful offering for Lombard's multilingual families. Whether you're maintaining a home language or introducing a new one, we support your child's linguistic journey.
Schedules for Working Families
We understand that Lombard families are busy. With half-day and full-day options, plus easy drop-off times that work with Metra schedules, we make quality education accessible for two-career households.
Real Community, Not a Chain
We're not a franchise — we're a family-owned school that's been part of this community since 2005. Our teachers know every child by name, and parents become part of our extended family.

A Day in Your Child's Life at W Montessori
Curious what a typical day looks like? Here's a glimpse into the rhythm of our classroom:
MORNING
Arrival & Work Cycle
Children arrive between 8:15–8:30 AM, hang their belongings, and choose their first work. The extended morning work cycle (2–3 hours) is when the magic happens — deep concentration, individual lessons, and self-directed exploration.
MIDDAY
Outdoor Play & Lunch
After Line Time (songs, movement, community gathering), children head outside for gross motor play. Lunch is served family-style with real dishes — children set the table and clean up, building practical life skills.
AFTERNOON
Rest, Enrichment & Language
Younger children nap while older ones return for quiet work. Enrichment rotates weekly (music, STEM, culinary arts). Every day ends with Spanish or Polish immersion before the closing ritual and dismissal at 3:15–3:30 PM.
"We moved to Lombard from the city and were worried about finding the right school. W Montessori felt like home from day one. Our daughter lights up every morning — she actually asks to go to school on weekends! The teachers are incredible, and we love that she's learning Spanish too."

| Class Size | Small, mixed-age | Varies widely |
| Community Feel | Family-owned, close-knit | Depends on school type |
Questions from Lombard Families

Absolutely! Lombard has been one of our strongest communities for years. We currently have several families from the Yorktown, Four Seasons, and downtown Lombard areas. You'll likely meet other Lombard parents at school events and find carpooling opportunities.
Every child receives daily immersion in Spanish and Polish, rotating monthly. This is especially meaningful for Lombard's multilingual families — whether you're maintaining a heritage language or introducing a new one. Children learn through songs, stories, and interactive activities.
Drop-off begins at 8:15 AM, which works well for Metra commuters catching later trains. We offer half-day (dismissal 11:15–11:30 AM) and full-day (dismissal 3:15–3:30 PM) options. Many working families pair our full-day program with before/after care arrangements.
Our team includes Montessori-certified educators with credentials from Seton Montessori Institute, MMTTC, and other recognized programs. Several of our teachers have been with us for 10+ years — low turnover means your child builds lasting relationships. Meet our full team →
